The Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences is seeking to appoint a Head of Business Operations to join its professional services team.

The Faculty is unique in the breadth and strength of professional education and training that we deliver.  We train and educate over twenty-five different professions and our long-standing reputation is evidenced in positive feedback, and the excellent commendations we receive from health, education and social care accreditation bodies. You will be joining a faculty that is building a strong interdisciplinary and cross-professional approach to solving the grand challenges facing society through the multi-professional and multidisciplinary Institute for Lifecourse Development.

This is a key role within the Faculty supporting the Faculty Operating Officer and the Faculty senior management team and is responsible for the efficient and effective management and operational oversight of business operations for the Faculty.  The post holder will also provide leadership on a number of key projects within the Faculty, as well as directly support the Faculty Senior Management team in delivering its strategic objectives.

The post holder will be responsible for a range of functions and activities that include line management of the Finance, Marketing, and Executive Adminstrative teams, as well as leading on student recruitment, resource management, and deputising for the Faculty Operating Officer as required.

Candidates must have relevant management experience gained in a team leadership role and experience or demonstrable ability of working at a senior level. The successful candidate will ideally have a knowledge of or background in student recruitment and marketing as well as sound financial management skills.
